Steven Palazzo, MPA, CPA - lic #5023
Our firm’s experience and understanding of Expats is derived from Steven’s own personal experience working and living overseas as an Expat in Uzbekistan, Hungary and Bosnia and supporting operations in other countries. His Expat experience is complemented by his military service in the Marine Corps Reserves and MS National Guard. As a Marine veteran of the Persian Gulf War, he spent time in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, with 3rd Force Recon. Most recently, he spent a year with the MS National Guard supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom at Mobilization Center Camp Shelby.
Steven has been preparing US tax returns and managing financial operations for US- and International-based businesses since 1995.
Steven and his family reside on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Educated at the University of Southern Mississippi, he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting. One of his most satisfying professional achievements was passing the CPA exam on his first sitting.
He maintains active membership in the following organizations: AICPA, MSCPA, Coast Chamber, Rotary Club International, and other professional and community groups.
Steven has been serving in the Mississippi House of Representatives since January 1, 2007.
Shelly Boone, CPA - Tax Manager

Shelly brings 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax planning and preparation, business consulting and management to the firm. She was recently appointed to serve a five year term on the Mississippi State Board of Public Accountancy by Governor Haley Barbour. Shelly is an active member in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Mississippi Society of CPAs. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at The University of Southern Mississippi.
Lisa Palazzo, Firm Administrator
Alongside husband Steven Palazzo, Lisa manages the firm as full time administrator. She gained her knowledge first hand as an EXPAT living overseas in Hungary and has built upon this foundation by attaining over eight years experience in EXPAT tax service. Lisa also handles client relations, firm development and marketing. She received her Bachelor of Science at The University of Southern Mississippi and is highly active in community and civic organizations.
